Sacrament was founded in a year 1990. First line up was:
Janne Lindholm – guitar, vocals
Tero Kuula - drums, backing vocals
Petri Ruotsalainen – guitar, backing vocals
Jari Beckman - bass

First demo "Destined to die" was released 29.9.1991. Bassplayer at the time was Nikke Helander. Couple of gigs later in a year of 1992 was released demo "Judgement day". At that time bassplayer was Lare Nieminen.

Many many gigs later at year 1993 was released first LP-cassette "Dreams and reality".
Bassplayer in that recording sessions was Timi Mäkelä.

Couple of gigs later there was radical changes at the band line up. Drummer was changed to Ari Hiltunen and on the bass come Jan Matvejeff. At year 1994 was released single called "Make the change". Couple of gigs later sacrament goes on a brake, because of band members went to other projects.

At year 1999 sacrament started again. Line up at the time was:

Tero Kuula - drums, backing vocals
Petri Ruotsalainen – guitar, backing vocals
Jan Matvejeff – bass, backing vocals

After some time there was changes to line up. On guitar came Juhana Stolt and on bass Jaakko Lohenoja. With this line up there was released two demos "Confuse my mind" at year 1999 and "Beginning of the end" at year 2000.

Couple of gigs later line up changes again. On guitar came Kai Litja and on bass Lasse Wikberg. After some gigs we have to change guitar player again, then Juhani Muhonen came on guitar. At year 2002 was released single called "Escape from reality" and music video of the title track. Video was played in tv-channel called moon tv for some time. At year 2003 guitar player changed to Sami Anttonen. At year 2003 was released "Walls of hate" demo. After that we did some gigs and warm up THE CROWN in their Finland tour.

At the year 2004 was released single called "Concure of time". After some gigs Sami Anttonen leave the band. At the summer of 2005 guitarwizard Tomi Tuomi came to the band. After some sessions at the year 2006 Sacrament did their first gig in Rock club called On the rocks with Tomi and Released Mini-Ep "Sweet revenge"

And there will be more to come in the future and hopefully the line up won' t change so much.
